Featured on Mom's Library: Christmas WeekLast week was Christmas Eve, so the library was closed. I was so busy with holiday fun that I didn't feature any posts. I decided, instead, to feature my holiday. We had a wonderful Christmas with family and friends. The boys loved their surprises from Santa-- Skylanders for Logan and a "fake dog" for Tyson (his words).
One of my favorite parts of Christmas was a Christmas performance organized by my parents and performed by the five grandkids. I really wish I could get my parents to write a blog because they do so much great stuff with the kids. Grandpa wrote the script and directed the play. Grandma made costumes for all of the kids. Logan was a Christmas tree and Tyson was lights. It was adorable.
The worst part of Christmas was that our adorable new addition, Coco, destroyed our Christmas tree! If anyone has tips for saving your Christmas tree from a cat, leave them in the comments! He is looks like an innocent Christmas cat, but don't be fooled by this feline face.
Overall it was a great end to 2013. I'm looking forward to 2014. I have some big plans (and dreams) for the year. I hope I get to share some of them with all of you soon!! I'm focusing the beginning of 2013 on returning to my fitness goals, reading more, and organizing my basement storage room. If you have posts on those topics, make sure you link them up to the library!!
